Mayor Luther is a lifelong resident of Parsippany. He received his undergraduate degree from The Catholic University of America and his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. His involvement in public service is complemented by his experience in other areas of government. He is a former Morris County Assistant Prosecutor and former Prosecutor for the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills.
Mayor Luther currently sits on the Morris County Open Space Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of Head Start and the Morris County Economic Development Corporation.
The Mayor has been extensively involved in public legislative issues through his active participation on the NJ League of Municipalities Legislative Committee, as well as serving on the Mayor’s Housing Policy Committee to address necessary COAH reforms.
Mayor Luther currently resides in Mount Tabor with his wife, Pegeen, and their four children. He is thankful for the continued support of his friends, current and former neighbors, and all the new acquaintances he has made during his term as he traveled throughout the town speaking with residents, attending local sporting events and senior citizen functions.
