Janice McCarthy – Practical Business Savvy

Janice is a financial professional who managed and directed domestic and international financial operations for Fortune 500 companies that include ADP and Ingersoll-Rand.

After her career in corporate management, she accepted a position to help lead the budget and planning function for Montclair State University, New Jersey’s second largest public university.  During her tenure at MSU, Janice helped to craft a longterm strategic plan that ultimately laid the foundation for future years of responsible, goal-oriented budgeting.

In addition to her business career Janice taught finance at Seton Hall University and was an instructor in Montclair State University’s freshman student mentoring program providing support and guidance to incoming freshmen.

Currently, she is a member of newly formed business support, education and networking organization, called B.I.G (Believe, Inspire, Grow) for women entrepreneurs helping them achieve their business goals.

For several years, Janice has also served on the Board of Trustees for the Jaime Estates  homeowners association and now provides financial services for the organization.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bloomfield College with a degree in Business Administration and has an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickenson University.

Janice McCarthy and her husband, Joe, have lived in Parsippany for 24 years establishing long standing relationships within the community.
