- Did you know the Town Council voted to buy the most expensive insurance policy that cost the Parsippany taxpayers an additional $750,000?
They were subsequently brought under investigation by the state comptroller’s officer who said their actions “potentially constitute a violation of the Local Government Ethics Law.” State Comptroller Matthew Boxer stated “It’s not okay for government to award insurance contracts based on the friends and family plan – particularly when that plan is not offering savings but instead costs taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
